My 2 year old absolutely loves these books! The illustrations are awesome and the paper is great quality. We did have to put the Velcro on the pages prior to use but it was easy to do. Some of the Velcro circles did not line up perfectly where the book wants you to place them (the giraffe piece says to put the Velcro half on the neck). Therefore, I’d just make sure the Velcro are fully on the pieces before applying. My daughter plays with these for several minutes uninterruptedBought all 4 books. Spendy. Had to put every single Velcro tab on the pieces (That I had to punch out & separate first) and also in the books. Time consuming. One book was damaged. I took pictures. Dunno if I’d order again, had I known that there was work involved. Glad they weren’t a gift!Book missing page 9 pieces in both books I ordered. I utilized pieces from second book to make activity page for page 9. My guess is that 06 and 09 look similar and that is why 09 was missing. If I order more not sure I will receive pieces I need. So just make sure you check for all pieces before assembly.Ordered this for my Grandson. I got it and had put all the velcro pieces on EACH and EACH piece only to find out that 6 pieces for page 8 was missing.I had to return it and get another game only the find out the SAME PAGE of pieces were missing!I finally decided that they were all going to be defective but my grandson loved it so much that we kept it with the missing.Having to pay that much for an educational game and having to go through returning and reorder just to find out the same pieces of page 8 were missing!Love the idea. Seller's information lacked that there would be some assembly. There are no instructions or information that the Velcro would have to be applied to the book and the items and which piece would have to go on the book and which goes on the removable pieces, so I put the wrong ones on the book and ran out of pieces. I'm spending another $13 to get another set of Velcro pieces. I sent one of these as a gift and regretting it now because of so many pieces the recipient will have to work with to put it together for the child. My grandson did love the bright colors and the objects.
